SCH4 Shigfest

LOCATION: Hueston Woods State Park Covered Bridge on Camden College Corner Road just east of Buck Paxton Road junction. Parking is on the northwest side of the bridge. The parking lot is small, so you may have to find parking in the picnic areas near the bridge (just type Hueston Woods covered bridge in google maps).
WHAT TO EXPECT: Fall ShigFest 2017!!!! THE BEST HASH EVER!!!!!
Well the name pretty much explains what you will expect to find on trail…shig. And lots of it!!! Trail is a LONG “A” to “B” with very little pavement and miles of endless shiggy to enjoy. Expect the usual hills, thorns, mud, wet shoes, and of course the beautiful fall scenery. I believe this is the first time we’ve ever hashed in Hueston Woods, so this is all hash virgin territory! Since this is a long trail, we’ll start early at 2 pm. Plenty of daylight to search for lost Columbus hashers…and yes they are still required to bring flashlights and locator beacons! For all walkers the hares recommend that they go to the first Beer Near then return back to their cars. They can also help with runner pickup at the “B” location. Weather permitting we will circle at “A”.
WHAT TO BRING:
+ The whistle you never blow except during whistle check
+ Your bent broken centurion mug or your cheap dependable plastic mug
+ Change of clothes and shoes. Warm clothing/jacket for circle outside
+ Money for the on-after
+ Pliers to pull out thorns
